What's the best way to finish MDF Edges?! I did 12 tests so you don't have to!

I've tried 12 different methods to find out what the best way is to finish MDF edges. And to be honest I was really surprised by some of these tests! I think the most cost and time efficient is test number 3: Primer - sanding - primer - sanding - finish. All 12 tests: Slap on paint Primer - sanding - finish Primer - sanding - primer - sanding - finish Diluted wood glue - primer - sanding - finish CA glue (or epoxy) - primer - sanding - finish Wood putty - sanding - primer - sanding - finish Normal putty - sanding - primer - sanding - finish Bonus test 1: Paper tape?! Yes!
