False Queen Syndrome (Hive 2): Honeycomb examinations revealed multiple (double and triple) irregular egg layings and intense drone cell (convex cell) development in worker bee cells. These findings confirm that the colony, having been queenless for a long time, has developed worker bee ovaries, leading to the development of a "false queen". It was decided to shake this hive at an appropriate distance to eliminate the false queens. Test Frame Application (Hives 4 and 6): To clarify the situation in Hive 4, where the presence of a queen bee was suspected, a "test frame" containing daily eggs from stronger colonies was transferred. Whether the colony will build queen cells (cups) on this frame is being monitored. Feeding Policy and Principle of Naturalness: Despite being in the period known as the June gap and the decrease in nectar flow, sucrose (sugar/syrup) supplementation was not given to the colonies externally in order to preserve the natural structure of the honey to be produced. This principle is not compromised due to the risk of externally supplied glucose sources being mixed into the honey by the bees. Environmental Observations: Flora analysis revealed that the colonies' need for high-protein pollen, critical for brood development, is met by the Cistus plant in the region. The possible symbiotic relationship between ants inside the hive and Varroa mites was also evaluated.
