1983-ish Daisy Model 1938B plastic trigger issues

Greetings All, After getting quite a few inquiries about replacement issues with broken/busted plastic triggers in post 1978 Red Ryder's, one showed up all the way from Alabama. This video is part one of a series on ways to keep your plastic trigger Daisy up and running if your trigger unit fails. There will be a bit of a delay in part two as I'm waiting on replacement triggers from Daisy to attempt the trigger mod and swap as detailed on several of the BB gun forums I frequent. I'm looking forward to seeing if this swap works as claimed as there are quite a few Daisy users out there whose first BB gun was one of the post 1978 Red Ryder's, and their attachment to their first guns is no less than the diminishing pool of guys and gals whose first BB gun was a 1947 Red Ryder.
