Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat and cook stirring all the while to prevent scorching and to prevent any skin (malai) from forming. Cook for approximately 15-18 minutes till the milk is thick enough to coat the back of the spoon. Remember, the condensed milk become thicker as it cools down. Remove from heat and cool down completely while stirring constantly.
