Star broadcaster and disc jockey, Johnnie Walker relates memories and thoughts upon his time aboard Radio Caroline in the 1960s; as well as his part in the history of Pirate Radio. Johnnie Walker is an esteemed Radio DJ, presenter, broadcaster and a household name, having enjoyed a hugely successful career including Swinging Radio England, Radio Caroline, BBC Radios 1 and 2 in the 60s, 70s and again from 1987 since; and local English stations too, including Wiltshire Radio, BBC GLR, and later BBC Essex. He was interviewed here, in 2017, by Craig Greenslade, as part of a radio production, with John Barker, for Hospital Radio Chelmsford.
