A waveguide is the most popular form of transmission line that is used to guide electromagnetic waves from one point to another. This video is a continuation of the previous one. The geometry creation of the WR-15 waveguide along with the basic concepts of waveguides was covered in the previous lesson. This video covers the next steps, such as assigning excitations, adding solution setup, and post-processing the results obtained from the simulation. The cutoff frequency of various modes propagating inside the waveguide is determined by plotting the real and imaginary parts of the propagation constant.
