A Soldier's Heart: Week 22 Recap - Part 1 A Soldier's Heart: September 14 - September 16 The military continues to close in on the insurgents. Through the combined efforts of Jethro's and Lourds' groups, more areas surrounding the terrorist's camp are successfully secured. As Saal (Sid Lucero) and his comrades prepare for the military's arrival, two of the leader's loved ones suffer a tragic fate after engaging in a shootout with Jethro (Elmo Magalona) and his troop. Choosing to fight for their beliefs and remain by Saal's (Sid Lucero) side, Rasheed (Matt Evans) and Fatima (Nikki Valdez) meet their unfortunate demise. As the military troops continue to advance toward him, Saal remains hellbent on fulfilling his vision from the very beginning. Soon after, Alex (Gerald Anderson) comes forward to plead with Saal to finally lay down his weapon and surrender himself to the military. Recalling how the war affected the lives of their loved ones, Minda (Mickey Ferriols) and Yazmin (Irma Adlawan) pray for guidance and protection for their sons. Meanwhile, Saal (Sid Lucero) begins to realize what matters most despite their conflicting beliefs. As Alex (Gerald Anderson) slowly inches closer toward his brother, a looming attack from one of the insurgents threatens to disrupt their heartfelt encounter.
