Photographed on July 5, 2026. This is the Yamakasa festival held in Takematsu, Yahata-Nishi Ward, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It has finally begun again this year. Although rain was forecast, it was beautifully sunny during the procession, and it started raining as soon as the floats returned. The decorative Yamakasa floats will be displayed from July 17th to 19th.
