Comparing a 5 and 3 door Rav4 from the 90s | Episode 14
Less is more? Let's find out by comparing a 5-door Rav4 and 3-door Rav4 produced months apart, in the same factory in Toyota city in Japan. Trusty Baksteen has completed 484000km and the newly purchased Eish has only done 333000km. Both vehicles share the same 3S-FE engine, 5-speed transmission, wheels, lights, and numerous parts. There are also major differences, starting with a 400mm difference in length. This is relevant for the 1994,1995,1996,1997,1998,1999, and 2000 first-generation Rav4, both the 5-door and 3-door versions. It's also probably relevant for many older Toyotas.
