Beginning my blind and first playthrough of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33! This game made rifts in the gaming scene earlier this year with people claiming it as Game of The Year. Others claimed it as their favourite game of all time. And rather uniquely, it drove baguette sales through the roof! It's time to find out why. I've never been drawn to turn based games as I'm in favour of interactions that are more immersive and involved. Yet this game is a blend of both turn based choices where the player is required to follow with a well timed reaction. I'm curious if this style of combat will feel engaging and rewarding. Ever since Death Stranding 2 (which is currently my GOTY) I've been looking for another game that will make me feel something again. Will this be the game to do it?
