Trofaiacher Faschingsumzug

Trofaiach was once again a carnival stronghold this year. The town of Trofaiach welcomed around 60 groups with a total of 500 participants. With excellent preparation and a lively atmosphere, everyone was ready for the large crowds. The carnival parade kicked off at 10:00 a.m. on Shrove Tuesday at the main square and wound its way through the northern part of the town to the main street. Every single costume was a real eye-catcher, and the long procession, which lasted until after 1:00 p.m., offered the numerous spectators a colorful spectacle.
