Lake Gogebic State Park: A Walk Through Tour of the Campground and Day Use Area~~Pure Michigan
Lake Gogebic State Park is a 360 acre park located on beautiful Lake Gogebic in Marenisco, MI. The campground has 127 sites and has about a mile of lake frontage. They have a day use area with a boat ramp and a swim area. We both decided this one one of the best parks we stayed in on our 10 day trip across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The park is surrounded by Ottawa National Forest and Sylvania Wilderness, and is only 30 minutes from Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park. A fantastic base camp for so much outdoor fun.
