This is a review of the Topping NX4 headphone amplifier and DAC. Items reviewed: circuit design, schematic, build quality and performance. Performance verified with Audio Precision Portable One Plus. Frequency response, Signal to Noise Ratio, Gain and Distortion is Analyzed. Battery capability and safety also analyzed. The Topping NX4 contains a high performance USB connected DAC that is capable of 192K sampling and DSD decoding. It uses the Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC and XMOS XU208 USB Bridge.
