Allegheny River Kayak Trip (Betts Park to Bonnie Brae)
Allegheny River Kayak Trip (Betts Park to Bonnie Brae) My first trip on the Allegheny River was amazing. My two sons and I traveled from Betts Park in Warren, PA to Bonnie Brae near Tidioute, PA on the Allegheny River. We camped on two of the Allegheny Wilderness Islands. I then rode my bike from take-up back to our put-in at Betts Park. It was a memorable trip; we saw several eagles, heron, Canada geese, caught some largemouth and smallmouth bass, and had fun swinging from a rope into the river.
