Minsk City) is a multifunctional area under construction in Minsk, which is being built on the site of the Minsk airport -1", aircraft repair plant No. 407 and some other enterprises south of the city center. “Minsk World” includes a modern boulevard with pedestrian and bicycle paths, equipped with playgrounds, running along the main residential areas, which will be a wonderful place for recreation and walking for residents and guests of the city of Minsk. Development projects were announced in the mid-2000s. Since the mid-2010s, the project has been carried out by the structures of the Serbian businessmen Karić brothers. The project is being implemented simultaneously with the construction of the third line of the Minsk Metro, one of the stations of which is located on the territory of the complex. In 2017, the first residential complex “Diadema” was built and put into operation. In 2019, the first kindergarten in the area. As of July 2022, residential buildings have been built in the Asia, Africa, Eurasia, and Emirates Lux quarters. Construction is underway in the “World Dances”, “Mediterranean”, “Tropical Islands”, “Western Europe”, “South America” and others quarters. The Aerodromnaya metro station is 90% completed. In 2018–2020, the reconstruction of Aerodromnaya Street was carried out, as well as the construction of its interchange with Zhukovsky Street and Mira Avenue, which is part of the new district. In 2021-22, part of Brilevskaya Street adjacent to Minsk-Mir, along with the interchange with Kizhevatova and Kazinets streets, was reconstructed. During 2019-2021, new Belgradskaya, Mikhail Savitsky, Leonid Levin, Nikola Tesla streets were built and put into operation. Mira Avenue and Igor Luchenko Street are being completed. Construction of a secondary school and two kindergartens, as well as a clinic, is underway.
