These chemicals generate excessive soot that damages components such as: • The catalytic converter • The oxygen sensors • The exhaust valves and spark plugs The safe and efficient way is to clean the injectors outside the vehicle, ensuring that the dirt is removed and does not end up inside the engine. Procedure: 1. Disassembly: Remove the fuel rail, disconnect the battery, sensors (MAP, IAC, TPS, Camshaft), vacuum hoses, and disconnect the fuel line. 2. Laboratory Diagnostics: Before cleaning, we subject the injectors to stress tests: • Leak Test: At 60 PSI to ensure they do not leak. • Uniformity and Spray Test: We verify that all injectors inject the same amount and that the spray pattern is a fine mist. 3.
