Grayson Perry on Koyaanisqatsi
"It's what graphic designers drop acid to". Artist Grayson Perry talks to Tim Marlow about Koyaanisqatsi (1983), the film he has seen more than any other. Perry discusses the film's influence on advertising, defends it from the critics who derided it as cod-spiritual, and praises Phillip Glass's score and Ron Fricke's cinematography. This BFI members' event series is presented in partnership with American Express.
