Traveling from Earth to a Sun Twin's Frozen World (HD 112913) | MilkyQuest We explore the frozen extremes of a near-Earth-sized world orbiting a near-twin of our own Sun, four hundred twenty-eight light-years from home. This is what our Earth could look like if it were pushed out to Saturn's orbit — a rocky world nearly our own size, orbiting a star we could almost mistake for the Sun, but freezing under only 4% of Earth's sunlight. Ancient impact basins remain undisturbed. Ridged white deposits of frozen water and volatiles spread across the plains.
