And this year – four years after Blackpink’s debut – YG Entertainment gave us new boy band Treasure. Since its members were selected through TV programme YG Treasure Box, which ran from late 2018 to early 2019, many K-pop fans have been keeping an eye out for Treasure’s debut. The group’s first appearance was originally slated for 2019, but it was postponed. Thankfully, Treasure finally made their record-breaking debut in early August and are already on their third single, “The First Step: Chapter Three”.
