Reb Anderson was ordained by Shunryu Suzuki Roshi, founder of San Francisco Zen Center, in 1970. He received dharma transmission in 1983, served as abbot of SFZC from 1986 to 1995, and is currently senior dharma teacher. He lives with his family at Green Gulch Farm in Marin County, one of SFZC's practice places. Reb leads meditation retreats nationally and internationally.
