Make a Zener-Regulated DC Power Supply - DC To Daylight
In this episode, we put a Zener diode to work in a voltage regulating application. I’ve been wanting to put together a 13.8VDC, 30 amp linear power supply for a while now, and have gathered together all of the required components. However, it needs linear regulation to ensure the voltage is kept at the proper level. Sounds like a job for Zeners to me! https://bit.ly/3HaRXKi #0:00 Welcome to DC to Daylight #1:05 Power Supply #3:05 Block Level Diagram #6:48 Overview #12:16 Breadboard #14:54 Testing It! #19:28 Give Your Feedback Engage with the element14 presents team on the element14 Community - suggest builds, find project files and behind the scenes video: https://bit.ly/3tmdewv Visit the element14 Community for more great activities and free hardware: Tech spotlights: https://bit.ly/3qPrDhM RoadTest and Reviews: https://bit.ly/3pV5Bux Project14: https://bit.ly/31wbnJY #zenerdiode, #avalanchediode, #powersupply
