North Sea | Day 19 | Fitjar - Bergen

In Fitjar, I catch a break in the rain to pack up. Then it’s 9 km to the ferry terminal in Sandvikvåg. From there, it’s 21 km across the fjord to Halhjem. The 45-minute ride gives me time for a leisurely cup of coffee. Afterward, I continue on the mainland to Bergen. The city soon makes its presence felt. Instead of nature, there are expressways and shopping centers. Unfortunately, my camera falls right onto the lens today. Clang! After the initial shock, I continue filming with my iPhone for the time being. Thanks to AI, I actually find a store in Bergen that carries DJI products. Unfortunately, they only have the entire camera as part of an expensive Action Pack. At least I can now film again with my beloved DJI Action 6. The AI also suggested today’s wild camping spot. Unfortunately, it’s not ideal. Camping is actually prohibited on this beach. Since it’s pouring rain, I set up my tent behind some bushes, somewhat camouflaged, anyway. And yes, we’re in Bergen. It’s raining here too, even though the weather report says it’s dry.
