Todays video is an FRV on route 472 from North Greenwich to Abbey Wood. The route isn’t too bad and it wasn’t too long. I actually enjoyed the route and I would give it an 8/10. I do recommend doing it. It was raining a bit at the beginning but luckily it didn’t ruin the visual. Route 472 travels through: North Greenwich, Millennium Leisure Park, Charlton Station, Woolwich Road, Woolwich Ferry, Woolwich Arsenal Stn, Woolwich Stn, Plumstead Bus Garage, Thamesmead Town Centre, Harrow Manorway, Abbey Wood Stn Operated by: Stagecoach London Garage: Plumstead (PD) Allocation: Enviro400, E400h, E400 MMC Hybrid PVR: 22 (day), 3 (night) Length: 9 miles (14km) Journey Time: 44 Mins Frequency: 9-10 mins 24 Hour Service Route 472 started operating on 23rd January 1999 between Thamesmead and North Woolwich operated by Stagecoach Selkent from Plumstead (PD) using Volvo Olympians and Leyland Olympians. On 6th May 2000 the route converted to using ALX400s and rerouted via Central Way. On 29th September 2007 the route was 24hr Service. In September 2014 the ALX400s were replaced by new Enviro400 Hybrids. It was initially confirmed that the route would extend to Abbey Wood on 8th December 2018 with many changes taking place. In Plumstead it will be diverted from Nathan Way to run non stop from Pettman Cresent down Western Way to serve Priness Alice/Belmarsh. In Thamesmead its loop via Bentham Road and Crossway will be removed, it will run via Crossway directly from Thamesmead Town Centre and Harrow Manorway to then terminate at Abbey Wood Station.
