The story of Gothic 1 Remake faithfully recreates the iconic original, expanding on it with patched plot holes and additional side quests. The action takes place in the kingdom of Myrtana, where a nameless convict finds himself in a magical penal colony and faces the challenge of stopping an ancient evil.
