Willets Point is coming to life 🎨

We’re excited to unveil a vibrant new mural by Venazir Martinez, adding energy and visual impact to Willets Point Commons— New York City’s largest 100% affordable new construction development in over 40 years. Spanning more than 2,600 feet along the construction fencing, the artwork was selected by Queens Development Group—a joint venture between Related Companies and Sterling Equities—through the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs’ City Canvas program, in partnership with New York City Economic Development Corporation. In just a few weeks, we will welcome our first residents, marking a significant step forward in delivering 880 units of new, fully affordable housing to the heart of Queens. This is the first phase of a broader vision that will ultimately deliver 2,500 units of 100% affordable housing.
