Almost fifty years ago, a Spanish philosopher named Xavier Zubiri said that the great task of philosophy was to rethink reality. Not ideas. Not opinions. Reality. Today we want to explore a philosophical current little known outside academia, but which many specialists consider one of the most original contributions of thought in the Spanish language: the Madrid School. There we find such important figures as José Ortega y Gasset, María Zambrano, and Xavier Zubiri. Although they lived in the 20th century, their questions seem written for our time: What is reality? What does it truly mean to know? Does science explain all of reality?
