Block Control Without Relays Or Detectors? Lionel Style Train Control!
Episode 88: There are dozens of ways to provide non-colliding block control for toy trains automatically: relays, computers, detection circuits, and more. But what if there was a way to do it with just a simple contact, 2 lockons, 2 insulating pins, and some wire? There is! And Lionel devised this creative solution in the 1950's! Note: Please excuse the poor camera handling and distorted audio. I had to use my backup system to get this one finished. I should be back to my primary equipment for the next episode. Thanks for watching!!
