Lupe Villar, guitarrista de Sangtraït, recuerda su participación en "Ellas son Eléctricas"

The YouTube channel Milicia Metálica continues its series of interviews with prominent figures in Catalan Heavy Metal. Their latest guest was Lupe Villar, guitarist of Sangträit, the most important band in the genre for its use of the Catalan language since its inception. The numerous albums released by the quintet during their career, which spanned from 1982 to 2001, were a fundamental reference point for the genre in its adaptation to Catalan as a means of differentiation and a distinct identity. They also foreshadowed a certain evolution of Hard Rock towards the fantastical and mythological themes of the lyrics of what would become Power Metal. In this excerpt, Lupe refers to the absence of original music by Sangtraït in the documentary "Ellas son Eléctricas" (They Are Electric), and fondly recalls its official premiere at the Off Latina theater in Madrid on that exciting June 19, 2021.
