Preparing to Preach

This Bible on Our Day is the first installment in a two-part message on how to prepare helpful Bible lessons. I begin with vitally important steps we must take, being sure that we are first grasped by the truths of Scripture before attempting to apply them to the lives of others. I hope these will be a source of encouragement and serve as important reminders for Christians who sincerely wish to make an influence for the gospel in the lives of others. These messages will be practical for anyone who is blessed to present Scripture lessons for children's church, AWANA, men's, or women's Bible studies, or Sunday morning sermons. A parent who would pass their faith on to their children will likewise benefit from applying these steps to their own lives as well.
