Gardenhead/Leave Me Alone (Hype City Soundtrack)

Hype City Soundtrack is Neutral Milk Hotel's third demo and their first demo album that was officially released and sold. It was recorded in Athens, Georgia and Ruston, Louisiana with a few exceptions. It was originally released by the Elephant 6 Recording Company in 1993 and was available in several early Elephant 6 catalogues. It was distributed by Parasol Mail Order. Several other members of Elephant 6 assisted Jeff Mangum with the recording, including Bill Doss, Will Cullen Hart, and Robert Schneider.
