How to Craft a Duct Tape Woven Beaded Necklace

Learn how to craft a DIY woven beaded necklace using Duck Tape® brand duct tape in this easy craft tutorial from DIY and lifestyle YouTuber LaurDIY. This woven beaded necklace was made using a graphic swirl printed duct tape and a trendy color theme, but with hundreds of colors and prints available, you can substitute these tapes with any style you choose. SKILL LEVEL Intermediate DUCK TAPE Duct tape colors/prints used in this video: Graphic Swirl Black - http://duckbrand.co/black-dt-yt OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED Crafting knife Scissors Crafting board Stirring straw Thread or wire INSTRUCTIONS (00:41) First, measure out and cut tape to make beads. (01:54) Roll the cut strands of tape onto the stirring straw to make the beads. (02:36) Measure out a piece of the string about 20 inches and make a stopper at the end with a piece of tape. (03:43) Cut a double-sided piece of tape about 20 inches long and cut into a half inch strip. Make slits every quarter inch apart. (04:36) Weave the beads and double-sided strip onto the string.
