Auld Lang Syne - The Shamrocks Live from the Ulster Hall

Happy New Year from all of us here at the Shamrocks. We hope you enjoy our cover of the beautiful Scottish poem, "Auld Lang Syne", by Robert Burns, with musical arrangement by our very own Matthew Campbell, and poem written and performed by our wordsmith Jamie Johnston. Another year has almost gone We’ll be glad to see it pass Full of worry, sadness, tears and pain But there’s some hope at last For we have moved in common cause By the memory of a hug And we shall know it once again Wrapped in the arms of love The months ahead may carry All the grief you feel inside But we’ll shoulder it all together There’s no need to hide To hear these words or speak them We are the lucky sum So smile with thanks from in your heart And may God bless you , everyone This performance was filmed as part of our Live at the Ulster Hall concert, which can still be viewed until January 2nd 2021. Tickets can be purchased here - www.ulsterhall.co.uk/what-s-on/shamrock-tenors We are sending all our best wishes to you all for the year ahead and hope that you are all safe and well during this tricky time. We look forward to seeing you all in the not too distant future. All our love, Raymond, Jack, Matthew, Jamie and Matt xx
