How fast can you run 100m while carrying 80 or 120lbs? How’s your grip endurance? How’s your agility under load? Many great questions to consider when approaching the Farmers. You just used some grip strength/endurance on the sit ups and the ski so it’s not going to be at its freshest. Your heart rate will be up, even if you paced the ski properly and you know you have the bike next. So the conundrum; how fast do I move for the farmers? Posture I think you should move swiftly for at least a couple down and backs, then you can ease down your pace to recover as youre going into the bike. If you can’t hold the weights for at least a min, you need to practice building your grip endurance through outside training. I also encourage you to do ladder footwork drills with the weights to improve your turning capacity.
