Protecting our Cornish Cross Chicks from Predators!

We had another predator dig into our brooder and kill some chicks. We are not 100% sure what it is but I think it is a rat or rats. We have set traps unsuccessfully and now we need to build a better brooder to keep them safe. We also received another batch of Cornish Cross chicks from Valley Farms Hatchery. We switched to a different post office and had no losses and they called us before 6am when the chicks arrived.
