Ehrwald Austria, quieter side of Zugspitze
Our visit to Germany and Austria, with a visit to Zugspitze the highest point mountain in Germany. We stayed in Ehrwald Austria which is the quieter side of the Zugspitze area. And took the less crowded Tiroler Zugspitzbahn cable car to reach top of Zugspitze. We stayed in the lovely town of Ehrwald at the Pure Resort. Many sites to see including waterfalls and awesome views of the German/Austrian Alps. Truly a hidden gem and a recommended alternative to taking the more crowded Eibsee-Seilbahn cable car from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen area.
