Jamie Called Me a Teletubby... What's a Teletubby?
Hello Folks, While digging through old footage looking for videos of Homer, I stumbled across the original version of a clip that many of you have seen in my intros over the years. About ten years ago, Jamie and I made a trip from Oregon to Minnesota to rescue a 1958 GMC Fire Engine that we call "Sparky." On the way home, we stopped at a rest area somewhere out in the middle of nowhere. I had come up with what I thought was a pretty clever way to film hands-free by mounting a GoPro on top of a motorcycle helmet. Jamie immediately informed me that I looked like a Teletubby. At the time, I had no idea what a Teletubby was. The short clip from this day has appeared in several CTR intros over the years, but I recently found the original footage and realized there was a lot more to the story than I remembered. Please excuse the wind noise. We were parked in the middle of nowhere, and as you'll see, it doesn't really get any better. Fortunately, neither does Jamie's determination to laugh at me. As many of you know, we're currently juggling several big projects at once. We're rebuilding Classic Truck Rescue after losing the original channel, continuing work on the ranch, working on the RoadHouse project, and organizing years of footage for upcoming videos about Homer and many of the other trucks you've followed over the years. Thank you to everyone who has subscribed, commented, shared videos, and helped support the comeback of Classic Truck Rescue. The response from the Folks has been incredible, and we're just getting started. We hope this old clip gives you a laugh.
