FELLOW STAGG EKG REVIEW - Does the kettle perform as good as it looks?

Many thanks to FELLOW - https://fellowproducts.com/ SOME UPDATED THOUGHTS: TIMER - I was wrong about the need to hold the button for three seconds to begin the timer. Hold the button until you see the '3' and then it will countdown to begin timer. This makes it much more functional as you can push the button and begin countdown before pouring water over your leaves. AUTO-HEATING FUNCTION - I am having second thoughts about my preference of this system over having to push a button whenever you place the kettle on the base to tell the kettle to keep heating/holding. I do like the simplicity and ease but I have found myself many times forgetting to switch the kettle off after a session and returning an hour later to find the kettle has been heating/holding water. I think that there is too much likelihood of a lot of wasted power consumption. If you are going to buy this kettle then I would advise switching OFF the HOLD function so that it does not use excess power if you forget to switch the kettle off. LID - The friction fit is not perfectly watertight and I am getting a few drips of water leaking from the lid when pouring vigorously. RELIABILITY OF ELECTRICS - I have noticed some glitches in the display. Sometimes the temperature reading jumps around as you can actually see in this video and I have even once turned the kettle on to see that all of the numbers are shown in a mirror image (so 195 become 591!). I am wondering about the durability of that display especially given the fact that water does inevitably fall onto it during use. All-in-all I am still very happy with the kettle.
