🌎 [ITA] Today's video is a quick guide to properly baking bread in your oven, without using a cast iron skillet. To bake without a skillet: Preheat the oven to maximum temperature (for at least 45 minutes) with a baking stone or baking sheet on the lowest available rack. Place another baking sheet on the bottom to hold the boiling water and create steam. As soon as the oven is ready, place the bread in the oven (if your oven gets too hot on the top rack, place a baking sheet on the first rack to block the direct heat of the grill). Pour boiling water into the bottom baking sheet and spray a little water around the sides. Close the oven and bake for 20 minutes, lowering the oven temperature to 220 degrees. After 20 minutes, remove the steam (and the pan on the first rack, the one blocking the grill) and bake for another 15 minutes at 220°C.
