Why Skateboarding? | Tom Kemmer | TEDxFargo

Skateboarding is the best! Through personal stories, and experiences Tom shares how skateboarding changed my life, and in turn, Tom was able to help change others lives through skateboarding. Hear Tom talk about not only the physical, and mental health benefits skating affords, but also about diversity, inclusion, and the community around skateboarding. Tom Kemmer is a skateboarder, artist, musician, carpenter, father, and loving partner. Not necessarily in that order. He has been skating for 34 years. Tom's goal is to bring visibility to skateboarding in the FM area in an effort to build a new regional public skate park to motivate, and encourage youth, and give back a little bit of what skateboarding has given him over the years.
