As far as particulates go, I never noticed much in the way of passing them until around the 3rd. day. The element is pretty clogged and the saw is starting to get a little sluggish at that point, anyway. Personally, I would air on the safe side and adhere to what the factory recommends. Your saw will perform better anyway. When in extreme conditions with prolonged cleaning intervals, do yourself a favor (factory recommendation) get the Professional Series. I cannot begin to impress upon you the amount of time investment. Design. Build. Test. Consult. Redesign. Retest. More consulting. Rinse & repeat for months.
