This song was originally written and performed by Swedish electronic music duo the Knife. The song was covered by Argentinian-Swedish singer-songwriter José González for his debut studio album Veneer (2003) and released as its lead single in January 2006. In contrast to the electronic, synth-based original, González's cover features only an acoustic classical guitar. It was famously featured on the Sony Bravia ads. This particular version is super fun to play on the guitar. The fingerpicking pattern is a little tricky to wrap your head around to begin with, but once you take it slow it's actually quite simple.
