Troubleshooting, upgrades, and modifications of a SUPERSTAR 3900 HP. Problem with the bias current settings. Modification of the S-meter via Arduino. Modification of the FINE (RX and TX). Interesting average ("modulated") power output even with the original microphone. Slight offset when cold (normal at 16°C since it was recalibrated at 20°C), then returns to the correct frequency when warm. 1 hour of testing at 40W PEP without any problems, heatsink only warm.
