Hello everyone, and welcome to Féller! In this exciting tutorial, I'll guide you through the process of transforming our basic bodice pattern into an elegant haute couture gown. Make sure you have your front and back patterns ready, as we'll be making a crucial alteration based on the bust radius. Remember that, in haute couture, the bust radius contour is essential. We'll measure this radius, which for this example is 6 centimeters, creating a circle that will be the basis of our transformation. By following the shoulder contour and adjusting to your liking, we'll achieve a new shape for our design. I'll show you how to create invisible darts for a perfect fit to the body, considering options to show more or less skin according to your preferences. Attention to detail in the bust radius is key to concealing or highlighting this area according to your taste. On the back, I encourage you to let your imagination run wild. In my example, I'll divide a center point and create a three-centimeter semicircular cut. We'll add an invisible dart at the waist for an elegant fit.
