Über den Mosenberg zum Landesblick

I started my hike at the Heidsmühle mill and followed the Kleine Kyll river to the Wolfsschlucht gorge. From the lowest point of the route, I climbed to the Mosenberg, which, at 517 meters, is the highest point. From the northernmost crater lake in the Alps, I continued my hike through the village of Bettenfeld. Passing the cemetery, the trail led downhill along a meadow path to Meerfeld. Upon reaching the village, the signs directed me up to the Landesblick viewpoint, offering a beautiful view of the Meerfelder Maar (Marsh). On the eastern flank of the wooded crater wall, I hiked downhill to the K10 road. Crossing this road, I followed the Meerbach stream until I rejoined the K10. The trail then led along the district road to the L16 state road, which I followed for a few meters before turning left onto a forest path. The final stretch ran along the Kleine Kyll river until I reached my starting point again, the Heidsmühle mill.
