Start Shooting 30 FPS! Here's Why!
This video is for those who are questioning shooting in 24 or 30 fps, and to spark the idea of shooting youtube videos in 30 fps instead of the "cooler" 24 fps! I know I know you're a "filmmaker"! I get it I totally do! I also identify as one as well, but these days, unless we are actually making a short film, where no one looks into the camera lens, then for the reasons I stated (and some I didn't) I suggest shooting in 30 fps! Crazy right?! I know. I hope you truly hear me out and question, just because you CAN shoot 24 fps, doesn't mean you SHOULD! I try to keep it real in the video, I cover both technical point of view as well as the personal & emotional. I still think it's smart to use the frame rates appropriately.
