DADA Ensemble Performs "Out Here On My Own" at the Apollo Theater

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) and Debbie Allen Dance Academy (DADA) partnered for ‘Keeping the Promise’-1,000,000 Lives in Care-Celebrating ICONS of Dance on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the legendary Apollo Theater. Our DADA Ensemble performed "Out Here On My Own", choreographed by Terry Beeman. The evening honored the talents of: ▪ Gene Anthony Ray and the boys of FAME ▪ Alvin Ailey ▪ Michael Peters ▪ Michael Bennett ▪ Ulysses Dove ▪ Rudolf Nureyev and included a special tribute to the legendary Arthur Mitchell, Co-Founder, Dance Theater of Harlem This powerful event used the arts to educate and empower attendees on the work yet to be done to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
