Bethesda's Todd Howard Accepts The Develop Star Award 2020
26 years ago, Todd Howard joined Bethesda Game Studios. In the early days he worked on 1995’s The Terminator: Future Shock, now as a director, he works on new IP Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI. Starting out as a designer and producer, Todd rose to fame as game director for The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series. Fallout 3, Skyrim and Fallout 4 proved a powerful trifecta, winning countless games industry awards and shaping the two series into legendary gaming franchises. The success of those three games in particular allowed Bethesda to expand into other development studios and publishing offices around the world. At The Develop:Star Awards 2020 Todd accepted the Develop Star Award in recognition of his legendary career. Prior to his speech, journalists Elle Osili-Wood and Steffan Powell, as well as Todd's colleagues at Bethesda, shared their thoughts on his career and why he deserves the prize.
