At its core lies a radically condensed form of chamber music, conceived and developed over a period of three years. The works are based on a specially developed instrumentation consisting of five keyboard instruments, vibraphone, and three basses. Structural compression, rhythmic polyphony, and complex temporal relationships form the foundation of the compositions. The conducting is carried out via metronome and click track; all material is organized on a grid. Within this strict order, spaces of freedom emerge in which individual shaping and independent interpretative decisions become possible.
