There are two types of auxiliary headlights: the spotlight, which has a directional beam, and the fog light, which has a wider beam and doesn't reach as far. Today we'll talk about the latter. Fog lights are so named precisely because they produce a more diffused and intense light closer to the vehicle, greatly improving vision on foggy nights. This lighting feature requires specific adjustments to work properly. The beam of light extends approximately two meters when focused on a wall with the car at a distance of five meters from the wall. The right and left beams should meet in the center, as if in the direction of the license plate, and the height should be just below the low beam. The low beam, in turn, should be at the same height as the car's headlights. With this configuration, the fog light is lower, the low beam is a little higher, and the high beam is even above the low beam, providing perfect illumination.
