From Season One of Tony Martin’s ABCTV series ‘A Quiet Word’, where he talked shop with fellow comedians. Davies was a terrific stand-up in the nineties – and has since become one again – but this was recorded during the years when he’d grown disillusioned with live work, preferring to concentrate on TV, including ‘Jonathan Creek’ and ‘QI’. Produced by Nikki Hamilton-Cornwall. Directed by Joanne Donahoe-Beckwith.
